Tutorial: Braid leather, fabric scraps, or ribbons into cool bracelets

Pascale from //between the lines// shares a tutorial on her blog for making these cool braided bracelets.  The base is made from leather strips, but the woven portion can be made with leather, ribbon, or scrap fabric.  Did someone say “scrap fabric”?  I have just a little bit of it piled up around my house.  I bet you do, too.  Get the how-to.

Tutorial: Draft a pattern for a collar yoke

Yesterday while looking online for some supplies I noticed that Overstock.com has some good deals on craft supplies. Usually I think of Overstock for clothes and stuff, who knew!?

They’ve got sewing machines, sergers, die cutters, knitting and scrapbooking supplies, sewing notions, etc.

Looks like Overstock is going to give Amazon a run for it’s money. I don’t always go for the cheapest option…
