Check out this great free digital scrapbooking kit -
It’s free with email newsletter subscription at DigiDesignResort, a cute digital scrapbooking shop. It’s full of realistic and whimsical embellishments, frames, and papers.
I usually digi-scrap realistic and cutesy, but I’m a big admirer of those fantasy layouts so I whipped one up a few minutes ago with this excellent kit

Depending on how you feel about dolls and crochet, you will love this kooky, colorful doll or not so much… Making this doll in subdued colors would give an entirely different look. I’m not sure what I think about the Crochet Lolita Doll but I know someone will be happy to make one for a happy little girl. Added to Crochet Patterns and Doll-Making

Longtime readers are probably aware of my fondness for advent calendars. I do have a whole page full! So you can imagine how my heart went pitter-pat for this Christmas Tree Advent Calendar
It’s such a worthwhile addition to the collection, and to my personal collection of projects this year. The day is marked by moving the star from the first button to the last button, 25. It is hand-stitched on wool felt (so nice) and then finished on machine (so easy). Plus the tutorial includes a nice step by step with photos of mitering the borders.
