CRAFTPERSPECTIVES LECTURE
Hannah B. Higgins
The Multiple Intelligences of Fluxus
Thursday, April 22, 6:30 pm
PNCA Swigert Commons, 1241 NW Johnson St.
Free and open to the public
Commonly associated with political and cultural activism in the 1960s, the Fluxus
Movement struggled against narrow definitions of art and performance. Hannah B.
Higgins, the daughter of the Fluxus artists Alison Knowles and Dick Higgins and
noted author of Fluxus Experience, will lecture on this movement to provide an additional
context for the practices engaged in Gestures of Resistance [http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?et=1103310854327&s=10882&e=001DleKP7BLMdkjQ0UFkCE1Dg9XMCQCMCancBkPCjX6Hwtcxi4N0yifT0XX7fNRNcMpEhUmOCyUI38cltuzAZOVXnktuaYzt3wfs-vunm_yLiBF8AO_paAU00KnA5EvRoeJ9gmsi3SkvOZ2vbaF4LWXJOCOJX3NT3-qNYov3KOO6SISTfBrfrVz0cRyIlkmdfet6OaUlF3O0Oc=].
